Meet Rob Bloomfield

Rob has sawdust in his veins. His passion for working with timber started as a young man growing up in Brisbane and working with his father in the engineering trade. His Grandfather was also a woodworker who crafted custom built caskets. Together these combine to instil a love of precision and fine craftsmanship to produce high quality and award winning timber articles. He is now based on the Sunshine Coast and has been practicing and teaching his trade for the last 25 years.

Rob is a master wood craftsman and is passionate about bringing personality, uniqueness and practicality into all items he creates. Each piece is personally designed to suit your individual needs and specifications. They are not then replicated or mass-produced. You can be assured that your piece is a perfectly crafted, one off item that you wont see anywhere else. Made to the highest quality that will last for generations.

All through life there are occasions for celebration. Rob takes personal requests for designing and crafting specialty pieces including jewellery boxes, furniture, trophies, gift boxes, clocks, platters, urns and family heirlooms. Or have that old piece that has been in the family for generations fully restored to its beautiful best. Perfect for celebrating milestones throughout life including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, awards and special events.

Rob works alongside other fine craftsman within different disciplines, designing and building special packaging to display and present their fine pieces. These have included Jewellers, Watchmakers, Glass Blowers and Shapers just to name a few.
